Investigation launched into deaths of three Newcastle students and 18-year-old from Washington
A Newcastle University student who died on Saturday – one of four suspected drug-related deaths in north-east England this weekend – has been described by her former school as a “spirited” and “model pupil”.
Eighteen-year-old Jeni Larmour, from County Armagh in Northern Ireland, died within the first two days of starting an architecture and urban planning course. She is believed to have fallen ill at her student accommodation on Saturday after taking ketamine.
