State news agency reports four officials charged with negligence leading to explosion that killed more than 200
The Lebanese prosecutor investigating last summer’s Beirut port explosion has filed charges against a caretaker prime minister and three former ministers, the state’s official news agency said.
Judge Fadi Sawan filed the charges against Hassan Diab and former finance minister Ali Hassan Khalil, as well as Ghazi Zaiter and Youssef Fenianos, both former ministers of public works.
