Prime minister to announce remade cabinet on Sunday after two ministers announce intention to retire
Anthony Albanese has confirmed there will be a ministerial reshuffle, as ministers Linda Burney and Brendan O’Connor step down ahead of quitting politics at the next election.
Albanese returned from five days’ leave on Thursday to confirm the retirements and foreshadow he will unveil a reshuffled ministry on Sunday as a result.
