Up to 200mm of rain has fallen in some parts of southern New South Wales, prompting more than 700 calls for help and 13 flood rescues by the State Emergency Service over the 48 hours to Sunday, after areas flooded only last week receive another drenching.

Up to 200mm of rainfall hit a number of towns including Moruya, Nowra and Captains Flat over the 24 hours to Sunday, and heavy rain is forecast to linger until Tuesday.
