Bombardment of Khan Younis reportedly begins immediately after leaflet drop telling residents to leave
The Israeli military has ordered the evacuation of two neighbourhoods in southern Gaza that it had previously labelled humanitarian zones, forcing thousands of Palestinians to flee as attacks began.
Palestinian civil defence in the territory estimated that 400,000 people sheltering in eastern areas of the southern city of Khan Younis were affected by the order.
