A Victorian man has been accused of using insider information to bet on the winner of the Australian of the Year awards, as part of a police operation that has also seen charges laid against two other men.
The Australian federal police have alleged that a 38-year-old Mount Martha man used information from a Commonwealth employee to place a series of bets on the awards between 2017 and 2019.
