As Joe Biden visits Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Thursday afternoon, protests continue into a second full week following the 23 August shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man whom a white police officer fired at seven times. Blake remains gravely wounded and hospitalized.
Biden, whom campaign officials confirmed spoke with relatives by phone last week, will meet Blake’s father, Jacob Blake Sr, as well as other members of the family.
